PROP/WEAPON POLICY
- By attending WeebCon, you are agreeing to all policies and instructions.
- All props that look like weapons must go to prop check. If a WeebCon staff/volunteer requests you go to prop check, you are required to go.
- ANY prop or weapon may be subjected to weapons check at the discretion of our staff, hotel staff, or law enforcement.
- Props are defined as any item carried as part of a cosplay not designed to represent a weapon and carried as an augmentation to the costume.
- Prop weapons are inert items that are designed to appear as a weapon either fantastic or realistic. Prop weapons do not include actual weapons whether they are authorized, or peace bonded.
- Attendees caught removing Prop Check identification markers will have their convention badge revoked without refund.

- No realistic guns of any kind will be allowed including Airsoft, Nerf guns, water guns, paintball guns, etc. None will be permitted if staff, hotel staff, law enforcement deem them to look like the real thing.
- Even unrealistic guns must be non-functioning, No functioning prop, curio, replica, or toy capable of firing a projectile, explosive cap or blank cartridge will be allowed.
- Under NO circumstances may any prop, or replica firearm be pointed at an individual.
- All metal must be dull. Abrupt edges or points on rigid or semi-rigid props need to be rounded either by shaping or the addition of some type of point covering.
- No heavy metal objects are allowed.
- No sharp edges of any material are allowed.
- May bows and bow like objects must not be fully strung and demonstrate to be unable to fire projectiles.
- No glass is allowed.
