Photography Policy

Guidelines for photography and photoshoots at WeebCon

This is the map provided by the Gaylord Texan for the hotel's Atrium for all photoshoot sessions. By attending WeebCon, you are agreeing to all policies and instructions.

These areas marked in RED are designated spots where photographers can set up lighting and have photoshoots. This area is reserved for WeebCon and Atrium photo areas for attendees Thursday-Sunday.

Please ensure you are respecting all who enter the space for their own photos or photoshoots, you will not be allowed to designate an area strictly for your own exclusive use.

Flash photography is NOT allowed at the Hotel Atrium side to respect those who have medical sensitivity to flashing lights.

General Gaylord Hotel Areas Policy:

If you are hosting a photoshoot and are NOT in the designated areas in RED on the map, you will be asked to move to a designated area.

You are NOT allowed to set up your equipment in the Gaylord Atrium (outside of areas marked in red), you are allowed to take photos, but professional shoots will not be allowed to ensure flow of traffic.

If taking photos around the Plants or Water Areas please be mindful of edges and be respectful of Gaylord Texan Property.

You will be asked to leave if you disregard these rules.

WeebCon Convention Center Side Photography:

You are welcomed to host a photoshoot session or set up your equipment to ensure good lighting - as long as it follows all code of conduct and dress code policies and is not interfering with flow of traffic and/or a tripping hazard.

Flash photography should be limited to respect those who have medical sensitivity to flashing lights.

Staff and Volunteers have the right to ask you to move to a safe area if deemed to be a hazard to other attendees.

All photos should have consent and be mindful of any under age attendees in the space.
