ACCESSIBILITY AT WEEBCON

Pre-registration is not necessary to receive support services. Once you arrive, please check in at the ADA Desk for assistance and to pick up your badge. Guests requiring accessibility services such as wheelchair lifts are encouraged to contact us early at support@weebcon.net to help us plan accordingly.

This is a program monitored and implemented by WeebCon Community Relations. Your assistance with feedback is greatly appreciated to ensure an inclusive and welcoming event.

Accessibility Stickers
Accessibility Stickers can be obtained at the ADA Desk. These stickers are given to any person who might require advanced seating to an event or who may be unable to stand for long periods of time as a result of a disability or injury. One additional sticker may be given to an assistant or companion. Stickers are given out at the discretion of staff to those in need. The sticker is applied to a person's badge.
This sticker allows priority access through the security line and also allows a person advanced seating to major events. Please see the Advanced Seating policy for more information.

Advanced Seating
Advanced seating will be available for any programming where the room is cleared beforehand. Advanced seating will begin no more than ten minutes prior to general event seating.
If seating is already in progress, a person with an Accessibility Sticker may bypass the line and proceed to the entrance. If an event requires a special pass for admission, then a pass must still be presented in order to be seated.

Hearing Impaired Services
Please contact us in advance to ensure we can assist in accommodating any Hearing Impaired Services! Please email our Support (support@Weebcon.net) for assistance.

Visual Impairment
Tactile Braille signage is at the entrances to all meeting rooms and restrooms, and inside and outside all passenger elevators.

Wheelchairs
All partner facilities are fully wheelchair accessible. A limited number of wheelchairs are available onsite. We have portable wheelchair lifts, railing and ramps to assist you onto stages. Please email our Support (support@Weebcon.net) for assistance in advance.

Parking
Accessible parking spaces are conveniently located throughout the multiple levels of the parking garage, and always nearest the elevators. These spaces are public parking spots and are on a first come first serve basis. We cannot reserve these spaces. The hours of operation and garage rates vary, so please be aware.

Bathrooms
All of the Gaylord’s restrooms are accessible to persons with disabilities and contain stalls, sinks, and mirrors that are wheelchair accessible. Please be considerate if you are using one of these stalls to change into your cosplay and allow those who need to use the bathroom first priority.

Elevators
Passenger elevators located throughout the Convention to provide access to all public areas of the building. Elevators are alarm-equipped with two-way communications and have tactile Braille call buttons inside and outside.

Please be aware that during the convention, wait times to use an elevator may be longer than normal.

Service Animals
Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome at WeebCon and Gaylord Texan and Convention Center. The handler is responsible for the care and supervision of their service animal.
If the animal is found to be disruptive or behaving in an unacceptable way, without action from its handler, WeebCon reserves the right to ask that the animal be removed.
Under the guidelines of the ADA, we require that all service animals be harnessed, leashed, or tethered at all times unless this affects the animal's ability to perform their required task.
